The Purple Global Mission was founded in 2018 to respond to critical challenges facing healthcare systems—particularly the growing need for care beyond hospitals, rising chronic conditions, workforce shortages, and limited access to preventive and long-term support.
While our founding objectives focused on healthcare education, professional support, and outreach, we have refined our approach over time to reflect current global realities. Today, PGM operates as a platform for learning, collaboration, and systems improvement, advancing care models that are preventive, people-centred, and sustainable.
A world where access to quality care is equitable, continuous,
and centred on people and communities.
To strengthen care systems by empowering professionals, supporting communities,
and enabling collaboration through education, advocacy, convening, and partnerships.
We work across the care continuum—linking prevention, professional capacity,
community support, and systems dialogue to deliver lasting impact.
Focuses on advocacy, education, convening, and capacity building.
